Holy Trinity Church, Guildford

Epworth Choir held a concert to celebrate its 60th Anniversary, joined once more by Epworth Brass and the soloist Samuel Pantcheff.

The programme included: 5 Mystical Songs by Vaughan Williams; Gloria by Chilcott and the World Premiere of Air and Angels by Ian Assersohn.  The last piece was commissioned by the choir to mark its 60th anniversary.

For this concert, the choir raised funds for Surrey Young Carers, which is part of Action for Carers Surrey.  Young carers are children or young people under the age of 18, who provide regular care and emotional support to a family member who is physically or mentally ill, disabled or misuses substances. Surrey Young Carers support young carers in many ways including providing advice, guidance and information and someone to talk to.
