Raising money for local charities is at the heart of Epworth Choir’s mission, as determined by founder, Walter Deakin.
Every year the committee review suggestions from choir members as to which charities the choir should support the following season and a representative from the charity speaks to the audience at each concert about the work they carry out. Donations are then collected at the end of the performance and to date, we have raised over £400,000 for a wide range of charities.
