The programme featured the well-known work: Schubert Mass in G which is the most popular of six masses by the composer and was written in just under a week when he was 18!  The concert also featured ‘The Vivaldi Gloria’, which was composed by Vivaldi in around 1715.  Now hugely popular, it was, in fact, little known until the late 1920s with the first modern performance in 1939.

The Epworth Choir, which was established over 50 years ago, has a long tradition of supporting local charities.  For this concert, the choir will be raising funds for Transform Housing and Support which provides housing and support for more than 1000 homeless and vulnerable people each year in Surrey, Sutton and Wokingham.
